These photos were taken during a project with Baltimore City Commission on Aging, a program created to establish empathy between the elderly and youth of the inner city in Baltimore. The elderly were isolating because they were afraid of being injured by the children. They feared getting knocked down and breaking a hip. The program taught them to move securely, avoiding collisions and maintaining balance.
